The Longest Yard

My husband and I just went and watched the movie, The Longest Yard. I don't really know how to write a movie review, so please understand that you probably won't learn anything about the movie from my post. I don't usually like Adam Sandler so I wasn't really sure how much I would like it but the previews looked good and I like football movies, so I gave it a shot. I definately liked it. It was very funny and the story line was great. If you like football movies, I definatly suggest you watch this one!

Fun With Friends

I just spent the day over at my friend, Stephanie's, house. We didn't really do anything exciting. We just sat around and talked, just the two of us. Well, our kids were there. It was nice. It felt good to have a conversation with someone other than my husband or my son. Which let's face it a conversation with an one and half year old just isn't that exciting. I think the best phrase to describe the day is, "We should do this more often!" So a big thanks you to Steph for letting my son and I come over and bug you for the day. We had a lot of fun! I hope we didn't wear you out too bad!

Bad, Bad, Very Bad

Well the weekend started bad and ended very bad. It started with my son being sick. Bad. Then I got sick. Bad! Then, my husband's new puppy, that he just got earlier this week, died. Very bad! I hope this week goes better.

Crop in Style

Look what I got! It's a wonderful scrapbook and craft desk and storage system. It's called Store in Style and it's made by Crop in Style. I put it all together by myself, aren't you proud of me! You buy all the cubes and accessories separately, put those together and then put the cubes together to create whatever you want. I love it! Posted by Hello

Play Date

Today we went to the park with our friends, Stephanie and Toby, and their two kids, Aiyana and Chandler. Christopher had so much fun! He loves to play with other kids but doesn't get the opportunity very often anymore! So to Stephanie, Toby, Aiyana and Chandler, we just want to say, "We sure do miss you living with us and we wish we could get together and play more often! Please come over to our house once in a while!"

Sleeping

I'm so proud of my husband and son. My husband has been putting my son to sleep for the last week, with out taking him for a drive. It used to be that I had to put my son to sleep every single night. One the rare occasion when my husband would put my son to sleep, he would do so by putting my son in the car and taking him for a ride. Last weekend, my husband started putting my son to sleep, with out taking him for a drive, and has continued to do so all week. I'm very pround of them both. Plus it means some free time for me in the evenings!

I Like Your Shirt

Here's a conversation I had with my husband's friend, Jared.

Jared: "I like your shirt."
Me: "Thanks."

Pause

Me: "Why do you like me shirt?"
Jared: "It's really pink and it fits you well."
Me: "So what you're really saying is you like my boobs in this shirt."
Pause
Me: "When I guy says he likes how your shirt fits, it means he likes how your boobs look in the shirt."
Jared: "I'm just saying I like your shirt."

I don't know where my husband finds his friends.

Swinging In the Sun

I took this picture of my son, Christopher, the other day when he was swinging on his swingset. I love the expression on his face. If you want to see the entire photo album go here.Posted by Hello
