Friends

I wish I had more friends. Right now I have two friends. Count them: one (Kara), two (Stephanie.) Wow, wasn't that hard! They are actually great friends but I wouldn't mind having a few more. Don't get me wrong have a husband, son, mom, step-dad, dad, sisters and a lot of extended family who all love and support me. I just wouldn't mind having a few more friends. The problem is I have no idea how to go about making some new friends. I would especially love some non-Mormon friends, no offence to Kara and Stephanie. That's a little hard to do living in a small town in southern Utah. So I thought I would join a few friend finding websites. They are like dating websites but they are for finding friends. Here are the ones that I joined: New Friends Online, FriendWorks and Web Friends Online. I'm not sure that I will actually get any results but I figured it was worth a shot. If anyone has any other ideas of how to make more friends please let me know. I'm haven't exactly had a lot of success in the friends making area so I could use all the help I can get.

Brain Fart

I'm, apparently, having a brain fart when it comes to posting. I just can't think of anything to say. How do you other bloggers out there do it?

On the other hand my friend, Stephanie, has started posting on her site again! Welcome back

Piano

DSC00046

While we were in Provo to go to my Grandma's funeral, Christopher discovered the piano. It was my grandma's piano. He thought it was a lot of fun. I'm actually going to be getting this piano. I'm pretty much the only one who had room for it. I'll have to rearrange my living room a bit but that's not really a big deal. It's actually also a player piano but that part isn't working. I think that it will be very nice to have especially if Christopher continues to show interest in learning how to play. If you would like to see all the photos of Christopher playing the piano you can see them here (Kodak Gallery) or here (Flickr.)

Another Trip

My grandma passed away on Wednesday so tomorrow morning we are off to Provo for her funeral. She was a wonderful sweet lady. She was my step-grandma but she never treated us any different than her other grandchildren. I don't remember a birthday or Christmas that she didn't send at least a card. I will miss her a lot.

New Layout

As you can see my site has a new layout. Well sort of. It's the same graphics and colors but I rearranged them on the page. I think it looks better. Now you can actually see my Logo and the posts have a little bit more space. Leave me a comment and let me know if you like it better.

Intense i-Color

I got to go shopping today! I love shopping, it's one of my favorite hobbies. I went with my sister, Laurel, and since she loves shopping too, we were able to really shop. Out of everything I bought today, I'm probably most excited to try the Almay Itense i-Color products I bought. I bought all three of their prodcuts; the shadow, the eyeliner and the mascara. Even though I consider my eyes to be brown, I bought the hazel collection because my eyes have flecks of gold and green in them. Laurel bought the blue and green collections because her eyes aren't really green or blue they are kind of a combination. I can't wait to see if they really work.

New Digital Camera

We bought a new digital camera yesterday. It's the Sony Cyber0shot DSC-W5. We already had a digital camera but we've been wanting to upgrade. It's a 5.1 megapixel camera much better than the 2 megapixel we already had. It also has a larger LCD display. It's also supposed to be better on the batteries. I haven't really taken any picures yet but I already know I'm going to like it much better than my old one.

Cool Air

Our air conditioner has finally been fixed. It went out on Sunday night so we have been almost all week without it. It hasn't been fun, especially for Christopher. He's had a difficult time napping with it so hot. It finally got fixed last night and all I can say is, "Awwwww!" It sure is nice to be cool again.

Pool Time

13

We bought the Jungle Playground Pool from Target. It's one of those blow up pools so I spent quite a bit of time blowing it up for him on Tuesday morning. I think it was worth it though, he seems to enjoy it quite a bit. I took a bunch of photos which you can see here (Kodak Gallery) or here (Flickr.) I hope you all enjoy them.

Over the River

... and Through the Woods to Grandmother's house we go. Well, kind of, I don't know about going over a river or through any woods but we are definatly going to visit my Grandma. She's in the hospital and I guess isn't doing to well. We weren't planing on doing anything this weekened but I guess we will be now. She lives up near Salt Lake City so we will be driving up to visit for the weekened. Since it's kind of last minute and we are leaving this afternoon, today is going to be filled laundry, packing and traveling. It's amazing how much more stuff you have to pack when you have a kid. I think my son has more stuff than my husband and I combined. It's not quite as bad now but when he was a baby, he definatly had a ton of stuff. I can't even imagine how much stuff you would have to pack with more than one kid. Well, wish me luck I've got 3 hours left and a lot still to do.
